Genesis is a collaboration between
Lindsey Barlag Thornton and
Amanda Dunne Acevedo.

Genesis is based in Chicago, Illinois.
We create, facilitate, and produce interdisciplinary performance.

As Genesis Ensemble, we produced ten projects between 2008-2014 - devised theatre pieces and interdisciplinary performance experiences. Each of these projects differed in process and mode of performance. All shared a desire and commitment to creating through collaboration.

Over the years Genesis has transformed. We continue to evolve.
